Finally!! :) My first experience with my 9' longboard!!

As probably now everybody knows that I haven't managed to get on the surfboard so far, i can tell you some news!!! I always liked to go or at least always told you about it when I was still at home. Now, finally, it took me over three weeks, i did it! :) After my first midterm today morning at 8a.m. in Corporate Finance (what a pleasure!! ;)), we decided to go surfing. Fabienne and her friends (which are Swiss too) took me with them and she helped renting a longboard and transported it to the beach! :) and then, after a short instruction in how to deal with paddling, lying on the board, standing up, the adventure began! it's definitely a hard job and isn't that easy at all as it seems! i was very lucky and managed to stand up for maybe 4 times. That was the bright side of life! ;) I do not need to tell you about the bad sides of that hour, such as swallowing a ton of salty water, salty water in the eyes, hurting arm muscles, the board hitting my head and so on... Overall, it was still worth it! And i'll let you know about my improvements. You definitely get addicted to it!
